P-WEC's Organic Farming

P-WEC has an organic farm field and grows vegetables, pepper, cassava, corn, and herbal plants. As an organic farm, we do not use chemical pesticides. Instead, we use manure and compost as fertilizers.

P-WEC's cooks cook the crops for the organization's lunch and cafetaria's food. All food served in P-WEC do not contain additive substances. Not only healthy, our food is eco-friendly.

The organic farm in P-WEC can also serve as educational media for school children. They can also help P-WEC to harvest the crops. As the farm is surrounded by villagers' plantations which are not organic, students can study and compare it with the non-organic farms. By taking children to the field, they will learn more than from studying text book in their regular classes.
